Cardiovascular Pathomechanics (CVPM) Laboratory

The CVPM Lab is a multidisciplinary research group in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. Our research is directed at understanding the interaction between mechanics and cardiovascular disease progression, with a focus on translating these efforts and establishing disruptive technologies that advance patient management.

In our lab, we value diversity in personal and educational backgrounds and welcome all in our collaborative research efforts to address important scientific and clinical questions. Our research lab and office space are in the Alkek Building, home of the Texas A&M Institute of Biosciences and Biotechnology (IBT), within the Texas Medical Center (TMC).

Explore our website to learn about our laboratory’s exciting projects and dedicated lab members. If you are interested in joining our research team, please get in touch with Dr. Timmins (lucas.timmins@tamu.edu).
